SMW Foundation Programs
As the Foundation continues to grow and develop, our range and scope broadens. We are excited to begin doing the work to create our own programming that aligns with our mission.
"Steph's Story"
Stephanie tragically lost her life at the hands of a drunk driver, and the SMW Foundation is committed to bringing awareness to the dangers of driving while intoxicated. We have developed our advocacy message, titled "Steph's Story", which sheds light on the reality of what can happen when you drink and drive. We are starting to work with high schools and their SADD groups (Students Against Destructive Decisions) to be included in their pre-prom assemblies to share about Stephanie and her story. The Foundation is also able to provide funding and resources to present a mock car crash demonstration during the prom season to bring awareness to the dangers of drinking and driving.
